DESCRIPTION:The Llangollen Garden Railway Festival is one of the UK’s newest and fastest-growing events dedicated to large-scale model railways. Founded in 2022\, it brings together garden railway enthusiasts\, families and curious visitors for a full day of layouts\, displays and specialist traders. The festival is held at the Llangollen Royal International Pavilion\, a spacious and accessible venue ideal for showcasing impressive large-scale models. \nEach year the festival features an expanding line-up of layouts representing different periods\, countries and modelling styles. Visitors can enjoy live demonstrations\, talk to experienced operators and discover the latest products from leading retailers and societies. With more than 40 stalls\, the event offers a wide selection of equipment\, accessories and unique finds for both new and experienced modellers. \nThe festival is entirely volunteer-run\, created to celebrate the hobby and support the wider community. Since its launch\, it has grown in attendance and scale\, reflecting the increasing interest in garden railways across the UK. The organisers work closely with traders\, exhibitors and local groups to deliver a welcoming and engaging experience for all ages. \nA key part of the festival’s mission is giving back. Through ticket sales and support from visitors\, the event has raised over £10\,000 for local charities. DESCRIPTION:One of the UK’s best loved pop stars Rick Astley will headline TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion on Wednesday June 24 when he will be joined on the night by very special guests Lottery Winners. \nRick Astley leapt to fame in 1987 with the era-defining smash single Never Gonna Give You Up\, followed by hits including Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody. \nAfter stepping away from the spotlight for several years\, audiences in Llangollen were treated to a special night in 2011 when he performed during the opening of that years Eisteddfod.
