Llangollen80: Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra

One of Britain’s best-loved performers returns to Llangollen as part of the Eisteddfod’s landmark 80th anniversary celebrations.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will bring their acclaimed live show to the Royal International Pavilion on Thursday 8 July 2027, featuring the exuberant blend of rhythm & blues, boogie-woogie, jazz and rock ’n’ roll that has made them one of the UK’s most successful touring acts.

Joining Jools will be powerhouse vocalist Ruby Turner, alongside long-standing orchestra vocalists Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka, for an evening packed with classics, virtuoso musicianship and infectious energy.

Jools has a long and successful history with Llangollen, having performed to thousands of people at previous festivals, and his return as a Vice-President of the Eisteddfod forms one of the headline events of the anniversary programme.
